By the time you are stacking buckets on the floor to catch the rain, you are way past the time that just replacing the roof will be your only repair. Water is coming in at the low point of the roof, even though tiny holes, but the actual leak may be somewhere else.
What we can be sure of is that if you are seeing water dripping or you see water stains on ceilings and walls, you are in the “fix your roof fast” group. And you may need more help with replacing and repairing insulation, drywall, paint, etc.
We hope that nobody’s roof gets to that point. It’s important to check for leaking roofs as they can cause significant damage to the structure of your home. Some signs to look out for are buckling/curling shingles, algae and mold, damaged flashing, granules in the gutter, roof rot, and water stains on the ceiling.
